Welcome back! It is wonderful to be able to offer swimming lessons again after all this time. However, as you can probably understand, things will have to run a little differently, at least for the time being.

DO NOT attend your swimming lesson if you have experienced any of the following:

  • A high temperature

  • A new, continuous cough

  • Loss of your sense of smell or taste

  • You or anyone in your household is required to self-isolate

Rules for Swimming

Our rules vary between pools and you can download venue-specific rules and risk assessments from our website.

However, here are some common rules we have put in place:

  • Only one person to accompany each child.

  • Use the hand sanitiser in the reception or lobby when entering.

  • Always maintain social distancing from other support bubbles.

  • If there is a one-way system in place, follow the system.

  • Arrive on poolside 5 minutes before your lesson is due to start, 'beach ready' as no changing area will be available before the lesson.

  • While waiting for your lesson to start, please stand at least one meter from the person next to you.

  • No spectators on poolside, unless in exceptional circumstances and prearranged with Little Seahorses Swimming/Swim Confidently.

  • Once your lesson has finished, please change at home where possible. If you do need to use a changing area, only one support bubble per area and no showering.

  • After changing area use, please sanitise the surfaces using the disinfectant and PPE made available.

  • Please take your nappies and rubbish home with you.

  • No waiting or baby feeding.

I hope that you understand that the above rules are in place both for your safety, and to ensure that lessons are able to continue.

Let's stay safe, well and keep swimming!
